Envelope addressed to the President of Hampden-Sidney College containing an invitation to the Inauguration and card invitation to the Inauguration Exercises for Woodrow Wilson as President of Princeton University, October 25, 1902. 13. Letter to Dr. McIlwaine (HSC President), March 9, 1903, from Julius D. D(?) (handwriting difficult to read) on Roanoke College letterhead. 14. Envelope addressed to Hampden-Sidney College containing an invitation to the Inauguration of Joseph Swain as president of Swarthmore College. Envelope also contains a letter written to Swarthmore College from Hampden-Sidney College congratulating Joseph Swain but stating that they will not be able to attend the inauguration. 15. Card stating “The procession moves from Miller Chapel at ten o’clock Academic Costume is requested, if convenient.” 16. Request by the senior class of Hampden-Sydney College to the Faculty that they be allowed to choose the speaker for Commencement; second letter to the senior class denying their request. 17. Resolutions of activities proposed after the death of Mr. Joseph McMurran; one resolution was to cover his portrait where it hangs in Shepherd College for 30 days draped in mourning.
